| On the richinternet.blog, I found an entry concerning doubleclicks and one of the comments posted was "If user doubleclicks multiple times a new window opens evertime[sic]. Thus after some time there are a lot of windows to close". This caught my eye as I use a double-click dispatched event on some of my work. Unless I'm too sleepy to double-click properly (afterall it is 1:00 AM as I type this :-), my code seems to be immune from this phenomenom.

* UPDATE - I no longer get any multiple image popups (only a single alert and image), so it seems this is an improved strategy over the example on the richinternet.blog - the gauntlet is now cast :-p |
